Afternoon Tea hosted by DVSS
The Denver Victorian & Steampunk Society would like to invite you to join them for tea on Saturday!
Afternoon tea is part ritual, part mini-meal, and a 100% lovely time. Seating will be assigned for the main tea with open socializing during the cake course. Wear your finery and enjoy the indulgence. (DVSS tells us that the tea is currently sold out. Thank you for your interest!)
Author & Artist Guest of Honor:
Roberto Rodriguez Calas
Roberto Calas is an author and lover of history. His serial trilogy (The Scourge) is about a 14th century knight fighting his way through a demon-infested England to reunite with the woman he loves. And every bit of it is true except for the made up parts.
In addition to The Scourge series, Roberto has written The Beast of Maug Maurai trilogy (fantasy), and a variety of novellas and short stories. His two most recent works, The Madness of Valatriste and The Children of Gehenna are due out in 2019.
He lives in Sandy Hook, Connecticut with his two children.
Roberto is represented by Byrd Leavell, of Waxman Leavell.
Costuming Guest of Honor:
Erin Card
Erin is a Renaissance Woman of creativity and loves doing anything she can with her hands. Between fashion designing, costuming, prop-making, crafting, and designing Tiny Homes, she also makes sure to leave time for video and board games, backyard soirees, and snuggling her husband and two cats. She’s judged and organized many contests, won several awards for her creations, and fancies herself an enabler — welcome to the Cosplay side. We have cookies.
